Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 green tea bag or chamomile/peppermint tea
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 5-6 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional
  • Ice cubes as needed
  • Lemon slices or mint sprigs for garnish

Method
 

  1. Boil Water:
  2. In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a gentle boil.
  3. Add Herbs & Tea:
  4. Turn off the heat. Add the green tea bag, grated ginger, and mint leaves. Cover and let steep for 5–7 minutes.
  5. Strain & Cool:
  6. Strain the tea into a pitcher. Discard solids. Let it cool to room temperature.
  7. Add Flavor:
  8. Stir in lemon juice and honey (if using). Mix well.
  9. Chill:
  10. Refrigerate the tea for 15–20 minutes or until nicely chilled.
  11. Serve:
  12. Pour over ice cubes into glasses. Garnish with lemon slices or mint. Serve fresh and enjoy!
